As a Registered Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading your service and ensuring exceptional outcomes for young people.
Your Role as a Registered Manager (Childrens Services)
You will lead and inspire a dedicated team to provide a safe structured and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team to deliver a calm supportive environment that promotes development and wellbeing
- Ensure children experience positive opportunities to build confidence and life skills
- Create a culture where each childs needs are recognised and met
- Deliver a consistent child-centred approach
- Drive service performance and maintain high standards of care
- Develop implement and review individual care plans
- Conduct staff supervision appraisals and performance management
- Mentor and guide staff to deliver high-quality therapeutic care
- Support staff development and continuous improvement
- Ensure full compliance with legislation policies and Ofsted requirements
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Level 3 Diploma in Childrens Residential Childcare
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards)
- At least two years experience in a residential childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of legislation Ofsted standards and regulations
- Experience completing risk assessments and producing clear reports
- Proven ability to lead motivate and develop teams
- Passion for supporting young people with complex needs
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive flexible approach with a focus on outcomes
