Working in close partnership with the CEO and as a key member of the Executive Team you will help shape the future direction of NHS Supply Chain ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding value performance and innovation for the NHS. Leading a broad and influential portfolio encompassing Finance Data & Technology Business Performance and Risk you will provide strategic leadership that enables informed decision-making organisational resilience and sustainable growth. You will provide executive leadership across Finance Data & Technology Business Performance and Risk ensuring the organisation has the capabilities controls and assurance frameworks required to deliver its strategic objectives. As a member of the Executive Team you will champion transformation innovation and continuous improvement while providing leadership and oversight of information governance cyber security and enterprise risk management as the organisations Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO)As a trusted adviser to the CEO Board and Executive Team you will bring commercial insight strategic thinking and constructive challenge helping NHS Supply Chain navigate an increasingly complex healthcare political and economic landscape. You will build strong relationships with government departments NHS partners regulators and industry stakeholders acting as an ambassador for the organisation and championing our commitment to delivering better outcomes for the NHS and the patients it serves. Act as a visible and credible ambassador for NHS Supply Chain building influential relationships across government the NHS regulators and wider industry stakeholders. Lead organisational transformation and innovation identifying opportunities to enhance performance improve outcomes and future-proof the organisation. Inspire and develop high-performing teams fostering a culture of accountability inclusion collaboration and continuous improvement. Provide strategic leadership of organisational performance implementing integrated planning reporting and performance management frameworks that enable effective governance informed decision-making and the delivery of long-term organisational efficiency and value for money ensuring resources are deployed effectively to maximise benefits for patients customers and the wider NHS. We serve every NHS Trust and operate a national network of distribution centres managing relationships with more than a thousand suppliers and delivering more thanorders each year to more than 17000 all of this on behalf of the NHS gives NHS staff more time to focus on their main priority of providing excellent patient skills will help you thrive in this roleA proven track record of executive-level financial leadership within a large complex organisation with a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent) enabling you to shape strategy drive performance and deliver sustainable outcomes. The ability to build trusted relationships with Boards government departments regulators auditors and senior stakeholders providing influence insight and credibility at the highest levels. Extensive experience of corporate governance assurance and risk management with the expertise to ensure robust controls regulatory compliance and effective organisational decision-making. Strong experience leading organisational transformation performance management and continuous improvement programmes using data and insight to drive accountability innovation and operational excellence.
