A successful secondary school in Bedford is looking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join its established Science department. The successful Chemistry Teacher will be expected to teach Science at KS3 and Chemistry at KS4 delivering well-planned lessons that develop students subject knowledge practical skills and scientific thinking.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons assessing student progress and adapting your teaching to ensure that students of different abilities can make strong progress. Practical Science forms an important part of the curriculum and the successful applicant will be expected to incorporate appropriate practical activities and demonstrations into their teaching.

• Chemistry Teacher with the ability to teach Science at KS3 and Chemistry at KS4

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
