THE POSITION:

• Assist in the preparation bulk cooking and presentation of meals to a consistently high standard across a variety of group settings
• Cater for large school groups corporate functions and general day-to-day guests
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and allergen controls especially when catering for children
• Maintain high standards of hygiene food safety and presentation in line with HACCP and internal guidelines

THE PERSON:

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery (essential) Food Safety Supervisor certification (highly regarded)
• Working with children check or willing to get one
• Proven experience in bulk or high-volume cooking environments (service-ready and calm under pressure)
• Strong understanding of allergen management and dietary needs particularly in settings involving children
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both junior and senior kitchen staff
• Ability to work nights weekends & peak periods
