Job Summary

A new opportunity for a Chef to work in the kitchen at Halsey House care home. We have a 35 hour per week contract available with work pattern of 5 over 7 days rota including weekend and bank holiday shifts. Salary 14.39 to 14.96 per hour (includes market supplement).

You will work with Head chef to deliver the catering services within the home maintaining a high standard of food provision and service to the residents staff and visitors.

Educated to NVQ Level 3 Cooking or equivalent and an intermediate food hygiene certificate you will have experience of catering management in a care home or similar environment for large number of people and experience of catering to meet special dietary addition you will be an effective communicator and have experience of leading a team and the management of stock control.

Previous experience of maintaining standards within a catering department according to Health & Safety and Food Safety Act and good IT skills are essential.
