- Shifts: 7:30am-5:30pm

Under the leadership of our experienced Care Home Manager Tracey who has been with us for over 10 years we foster a supportive and positive environment for both residents and staff.
We’re currently looking for a Chef to join our this role you’ll be at the heart of our catering service preparing fresh home-cooked meals from scratch ensuring that every meal is nutritious appetizing and tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Your culinary skills will play an important role in providing residents with a sense of comfort and enjoyment through the food you create.
As a Chef at our home your role may involve:
- Preparing and cooking fresh home-cooked meals daily for our residents
- Delivering high standards of culinary excellence with well-balanced nutritious meals
- Maintaining a clean safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
- Contributing to menu planning and ensuring meals meet the dietary needs of our residents
- Complying with all health safety and food hygiene standards

Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.
What are we looking for
- Proven experience in a busy kitchen environment ideally with experience in catering for large groups
- A passion for cooking fresh wholesome meals from scratch using quality ingredients
- A friendly and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work well within a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks
- NVQ level 2 in food hygiene (preferred)
