Chef (Casual)
Job Summary
A new opportunity for a CasualChef to work in the kitchen at Maurice House care home. We have a casualcontract available which will include weekend and bank holiday shifts. Salary 13.74 per hour.
You will work with Head chef to deliver the catering services within the home maintaining a high standard of food provision and service to the residents staff and visitors.
Educated to NVQ Level 3 Cooking or equivalent and an intermediate food hygiene certificate you will have experience of catering management in a care home or similar environment for large number of people and experience of catering to meet special dietary addition you will be an effective communicator and have experience of leading a team and the management of stock control.
Previous experience of maintaining standards within a catering department according to Health & Safety and Food Safety Act and good IT skills are essential.
