Cost & Procurement is looking for a Change & Communications Manager based in Milton Keynes Bradford or Glasgow.

This role is a 12 month secondment/FTC.

Santander UK is undertaking a significant transformation programme to support the successful integration of TSB into Santander UK. As part of this programme the Cost & Procurement team is delivering changes to procurement processes systems governance and operating models that will enable a seamless transition to the future state.

The Change & Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the CFO programme by leading the change management communications and business readiness activities across Procurement and Finance workstreams. The role will ensure colleagues understand what is changing why it is changing and what is expected of them throughout the integration journey.

Acting as the key interface between programme delivery teams business stakeholders suppliers and communication areas. The role will develop and deliver change strategies engagement plans communications and training activities that drive adoption minimise business disruption and embed new ways of working.

The successful candidate will work across multiple workstreams ensuring change impacts are understood stakeholders remain engaged and the organisation is prepared for each stage of delivery through to business readiness and go-live.

To succeed in this role you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the end-to-end change management strategy supporting the CFO workstreams within the M&A programme.

  • Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement communication and business readiness plans to support successful adoption of new processes systems and operating models.

  • Develop and deliver supplier communications and engagement activities throughout the M&A programme including notifications guidance FAQs external websites and supporting materials to ensure suppliers are informed and prepared for upcoming changes.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier-facing change coordinating and managing supplier queries through to resolution working closely with Procurement Programme Technology and Business teams to ensure timely and consistent responses.

  • Produce high-quality communications presentations and engagement materials tailored to a variety of stakeholder groups including senior leadership.

  • Conduct change impact assessments identifying impacts and supporting mitigation activities across affected business areas.

  • Partner with Programme Managers Business Leads Technology and Communications teams to ensure change activities are integrated into programme delivery.

  • Develop and coordinate training awareness and adoption activities ensuring colleagues are equipped to transition successfully to new ways of working.

  • Identify and manage change-related risks issues and dependencies supporting effective decision-making throughout programme delivery.

  • Support business readiness cutover communications and post-go-live adoption activities to ensure a smooth transition into BAU.

Professional Experience

  • Proven experience delivering business change and communications within large-scale transformation or M&A programmes.

  • Experience developing stakeholder engagement strategies communication plans and business readiness activities across complex organisations. (Required)

  • Experience facilitating workshops impact assessments and stakeholder engagement sessions.(Preferred)

  • Experience developing training communications and adoption materials for diverse audiences. (Required)

  • Experience working within Financial Services or other regulated industries.(Preferred)

Salary Range:
53500.00 - 80250.00 per annum (depending on experience)

This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills experience qualifications and location.
