Catering Assistant

THE POSITION
- Deliver quality meal services to residents at Uniting - Thomas Bowden.
- Support a busy fast-paced kitchen team.
- Manage stock rotation and stock control.
- Follow food safety and workplace health procedures.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Assist with daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
THE PERSON
- Sound experience in catering food service hospitality or a similar environment.
- Confident working both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
- Basic food preparation skills and an understanding of food allergens.
- A positive can-do attitude with a genuine passion for customer service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
- Hold a National Police Check (NPC) or be willing to obtain one.
- Hold a Working With Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one.
