Category & Promotions Assistant

As a Category & Promotions Assistant youll help deliver promotional campaigns and category initiatives that shape what customers see across our retail network.

Reporting to a Category Manager youll maintain product data coordinate communications to stores and contribute to the smooth delivery of key trading activity.

Working alongside a team of planners youll gain exposure to the fast-paced FMCG industry while building commercial merchandising and category management knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product article and pricing maintenance across merchandising systems.
• Coordinate updates to ranging and new product introductions.
• Administer private label activity and related documentation requirements.
• Prepare communications to support retail execution across stores.
• Support Category Managers and Planners with day-to-day category activities.

You may currently be working in a supermarket retail merchandising support or administration role and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you also have:

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Intermediate level skills across Microsoft Excel Outlook and the wider Office suite.
• An analytical mindset and confidence working with data.
• Eager to learn and progress within your career.
