About the Team and the Role
eBays Collectibles organisation is one of the most complex and rapidly changing parts of our business. It connects dedicated buyers and sellers in categories such as trading cards arts & antiques coins and collectible toys.
We are seeking a Category Manager Collectibles to take end-to-end responsibility for one or more key categories within the this role you will be responsible for the performance and development of your category shaping strategy setting priorities and driving initiatives that directly impact results.

You will partner with seller-facing teams and cross-functional groups to translate opportunities into outcomes. You will operate within a global environment and coordinate with international counterparts on topics beyond your local market. The role combines structured problem-solving with hands-on delivery across the key commercial levers of the business.

What You Will Accomplish

• Lead the performance of your categories taking ownership for business outcomes and steering the key levers that get results
• Define and continuously refine the strategy for your categories based on market trends customer behavior and competitive dynamics
• Identify and prioritise the highest-impact initiatives and drive them through to execution
• Use data to understand performance drivers uncover opportunities and advise decisions
• Act as a strategic advisor to key sellers and partners supporting their growth and strengthening their presence on eBay
• Identify gaps in supply and selection and onboard relevant sellers and inventory to improve category competitiveness
• Work closely alongside seller-facing teams and cross-functional partners (product marketing finance) to drive execution and remove barriers

What You Will Bring

• 3 years of work experience; prior experience in strategy consulting strongly preferred e-commerce experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured analytical approach and a clear bias for action and tangible results
• Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and thrive in a fast-paced high-growth environment
• Experience working cross-functionally and driving alignment across diverse collaborators
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners
• Confidence in using data to inform decisions challenge assumptions and drive performance
