Are you a caring individual who is passionate about helping people live independent fulfilling lives We are looking for compassionate motivated and reliable Community Support Workers to join our Adult Disability Services team in the Fylde and Wyre area. If youre someone who thrives on variety and wants a change from 9-5 this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities...

  • Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.
  • Support people with daily living activities including personal care medication and mobility where required.
  • Promote independence social inclusion and community participation.
  • Help individuals access employment education volunteering and leisure opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning and reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with families carers colleagues and partner agencies.

Local Government Reorganisation

The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North South East and West Lancashire from April 2028.

If you are successful in your application you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However as part of the planned transition your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028 subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.

Throughout this period our focus remains on delivering excellent services to our communities. By joining us now youll play an important role in shaping the future of local government and helping to build a strong new organisation that will serve residents for years to come.
