Reporting to the Headteacher you will take hands-on responsibility for day-to-day site maintenance routine security health and safety checks and general porterage. This role is ideal for a reliable hands-on professional who enjoys a varied daily routine in a peaceful rural setting.

• Site Security & Access: Manage daily opening and closing routines gate security and keyholder duties for community events.

• General Maintenance: Carry out routine DIY tasks minor carpentry painting lock repairs and basic plumbing across the school buildings.

• Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct and log weekly fire alarm checks water hygiene temperature flushing and playground equipment safety checks.

• Porterage & Setup: Move classroom furniture organize delivery stock and set up the main hall for school assemblies PE lessons and village functions.

• External Grounds Upkeep: Keep pathways clear monitor waste disposal and maintain tidy hazard-free outdoor learning areas.

• Contractor Liaison: Welcome and oversee visiting maintenance contractors ensuring adherence to school safeguarding standards.
