The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operation and upkeep of the school premises. You will help ensure the site is clean secure and well maintained carrying out routine maintenance and responding to facilities issues as they arise.

Key responsibilities include:

• Opening and securing the school buildings and grounds.

• Carrying out routine site inspections and identifying maintenance issues.

• Completing basic repairs and general maintenance tasks.

• Ensuring classrooms communal areas and outdoor spaces are safe and tidy.

• Monitoring site security and following safeguarding procedures.

• Supporting room setups for meetings activities and school events.

• Reporting faults and arranging contractor access where required.

• Following health and safety and fire safety procedures.

• Assisting with deliveries and other site-related duties.

• Previous experience in caretaking premises management or general maintenance.

• Practical skills and confidence completing basic repairs.

• Good understanding of health and safety and site security.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

• A flexible reliable and proactive approach.

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
