Are you a passionate Careers Adviser looking to help young people turn their ambitions into meaningful next steps

Im recruiting a Careers Adviser for a specialist media and creative school in Hayes Middlesex. With strong industry partnerships and modern facilities this is an exciting opportunity to support students as they explore further education university apprenticeships and employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver impartial careers advice through individual appointments and group sessions

  • Help students make informed post-16 and post-18 choices

  • Work with the Careers Lead to develop careers education workshops and assemblies

  • Support applications for university college apprenticeships and employment

  • Connect students with employers training providers and meaningful careers encounters

  • Involve parents and carers in planning students next steps

  • Maintain accurate guidance records and monitor aspirations progress and destinations

  • Provide support during results days and enrolment

Person Specification

Im keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • A Level 6 careers guidance qualification or are working towards one

  • Experience providing personalised impartial guidance to young people

  • Experience delivering careers education in a school or college

  • Strong communication organisation and relationship-building skills

  • The ability to motivate students and help them develop achievable plans

  • An interest in creative careers and a commitment to explaining the full range of pathways available
