The role

As a Care Worker youll visit people in their own homes and help them live safely comfortably and independently. No two days are the same. Youll build real relationships with the people you support and make a difference to their day.

What youll do

• Provide personal care including washing dressing toileting and continence care
  
• Support with meals drinks and light household tasks
  
• Prompt and administer medication in line with care plans and training
  
• Help people get out and about stay connected and take part in their community
  
• Record visits and notes accurately on our electronic care planning app
  
• Spot changes in someones health or wellbeing and report them to the office
  
• Follow safeguarding infection control and health and safety procedures
  
• Treat everyone with dignity and respect and support their choices
  

• A caring patient and reliable nature
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow a care plan
  
• Right to work in the UK
  
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check (well arrange this)
  
• Willingness to undertake training
  
  

• Previous experience in care (paid or unpaid including caring for a family member)
  

• Induction and full training provided
