Care Team Leader 24 to 30 hours per week available 16.30 per hour enhancements Beautiful Residential & Dementia Care Home

Our client is looking for a compassionate experienced Care Team Leader to join their dedicated team in a welcoming purpose-built care home offering high-quality residential and dementia care for older adults. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead with empathy share your expertise and make a real difference every day.

As a Care Team Leader youll play a key part in the smooth running of the home supporting a committed care team and ensuring the best possible experience for residents. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with senior care experience whos ready to step up and lead by example while staying close to the heart of the work delivering exceptional person-centred care.

What Youll Need

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in a care home setting is essential
  • Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant Team Leader or equivalent
  • Confident in administering medication and leading a care shift
  • Strong communication organisation and leadership skills
  • A genuine passion for working with older adults particularly those living with dementia

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the care team on shift promoting a culture of dignity respect and kindness
  • Oversee daily care delivery ensuring it meets each residents individual needs and preferences
  • Administer medication in line with best practices and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records and care plans
  • Support new team members through mentoring and training
  • Work closely with families and external healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
  • Promote independence and wellbeing in all aspects of daily life for residents
