Our client is looking for a compassionate experienced Care Team Leader to join their dedicated team in a welcoming purpose-built care home offering high-quality residential and dementia care for older adults. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead with empathy share your expertise and make a real difference every day.
As a Care Team Leader youll play a key part in the smooth running of the home supporting a committed care team and ensuring the best possible experience for residents. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with senior care experience whos ready to step up and lead by example while staying close to the heart of the work delivering exceptional person-centred care.
What Youll Need
A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a care home setting is essential
Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant Team Leader or equivalent
Confident in administering medication and leading a care shift
Strong communication organisation and leadership skills
A genuine passion for working with older adults particularly those living with dementia

Lead and support the care team on shift promoting a culture of dignity respect and kindness
Oversee daily care delivery ensuring it meets each residents individual needs and preferences
Administer medication in line with best practices and company policies
Maintain accurate records and care plans
Support new team members through mentoring and training
Work closely with families and external healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
Promote independence and wellbeing in all aspects of daily life for residents
