Care & Repair Admin Assistant
Job Summary
About the Role
As a Care & Repair Administrative Assistant youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the service. Youll be a key point of contact for customers colleagues contractors and partner organisations providing professional administrative and secretarial support across the team.
The role involves maintaining accurate records supporting meetings processing work orders and invoices managing information systems and responding to enquiries from members of the public. Youll work closely with colleagues across the service to help deliver an efficient and responsive experience for older people who rely on our support.
Skills and Experience Needed
Were looking for someone with previous experience in an office or administrative environment and confidence using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
You will have strong organisational skills excellent literacy and numeracy and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people both verbally and in writing.
Youll be able to manage your workload work to deadlines and use your initiative while also contributing positively as part of a team. An understanding of the needs of older people and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are essential. Youll also hold GCSE-level education (or equivalent) or a relevant business administration qualification.

This is a part-time (14.5 hours per week) fixed term role to 31/3/27 based in Newport with hybrid working available and a FTE Salary of 25877.80.
Alongside a varied role youll receive 26 days annual leave rising to 31 days with service (pro rata) plus bank holidays.
