  • £12.76 per hour
  • Day Shifts: 8:00am to 8:00pm 44 hours per week (4 shifts)
  • Night Shifts: 8:00pm to 8:00am 44 hours per week (4 shifts)
  • Full-time contracts available on days or nights depending on your preference

The Role

As a care practitioner you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably independently and with dignity.

Day Shift Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant working days you will:

  • Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
  • Assist residents with meals hydration and maintaining good nutrition
  • Encourage participation in activities hobbies and social events
  • Accompany residents around the home and support their independence
  • Provide companionship emotional support and meaningful engagement
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Maintain accurate care records and follow individual care plans
  • Work closely with colleagues families and healthcare professionals
  • Help maintain a safe clean and welcoming environment

Night Shift Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant working nights you will:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents throughout the night
  • Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks
  • Respond promptly to residents requiring assistance or reassurance
  • Support residents with continence care and maintaining comfort
  • Ensure residents are safe comfortable and settled during the night
  • Monitor residents' health and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Complete accurate records and handovers for the day team
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the home
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality person-centred care

  • Previous care experience (preferred but not essential)
