Care Home Manager Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs
Up to 45000 per year

This small specialist care home supports adults with learning disabilities and complex needs providing individualised care focused on independence choice and quality of life. Were looking for an experienced Care Home Manager who already understands the complexities of supporting this client group and can provide confident consistent leadership from day one.
Youll take overall responsibility for the service ensuring high standards across care quality safeguarding compliance and team performance while creating an environment where the people supported are genuinely at the centre of decisions about their lives.
What Were Looking For
- Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent essential
- Previous Care Home Manager experience essential
- Strong experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs essential
- Good knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection requirements
- Strong understanding of safeguarding risk management and positive behaviour support
- Experience overseeing person-centred care and support plans
- Confidence managing complex needs and ensuring appropriate risk management strategies are in place
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and supporting care teams
- Experience with staff supervision performance management and recruitment
- Good understanding of quality assurance audits and continuous improvement

Leading the Home
- Take responsibility for the successful day-to-day running of the service
- Ensure individuals receive safe personalised and empowering support
- Lead motivate and develop the care team
- Maintain strong standards across safeguarding compliance and quality
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments accurately reflect each individuals needs
- Promote choice independence and meaningful involvement in everyday life
- Monitor quality through audits observations and feedback
- Oversee staffing recruitment supervision and team development
- Build positive relationships with families professionals and external agencies
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for both residents and colleagues
- Lead continuous improvement across the service
