Were recruiting part-time Care Assistants across several areas in North Tyneside. As a Care Assistant youll support people to live independently at home with dignity choice and compassion. Were currently seeking Care Assistants to support people living in Wallsend (NE28) North Shields (NE29) Monkseaton (NE25) and Cullercoats (NE30).

Pay Hours & Bonuses

We offer block pay (not pay per call) - youre paid from the start of your first visit to the end of your last visit within a shift.

• 13.30 per hour (drivers)
• 12.75 per hour (cyclists)
• Mileage: 50p per mile (drivers) / 20p per mile (cyclists)
• Part-time hours available

About the Role

You dont need previous care experience - if youve cared for family friends or simply have the right values well give you all the training and support you need. As a Care Assistant with Be Caring you will:

• Support people to meet their personal outcomes
• Promote independence using enabling approaches
• Deliver personalised care based on choice and control
• Provide personal care that protects dignity
• Communicate effectively with families professionals and colleagues
• Record and share information accurately and on time
• Help people stay connected to their communities

Working Patterns

All roles follow agreed shift patterns:

• Early shift: 7:00am 3:00pm
• Late shift: 3:00pm 11:00pm

Youll work on a 2-week rota including:

• Alternate weekends or
• Every Saturday
• Evenings agreed within your contracted hours
