Care Assistants in Nursing Home

Job description:

• Healthcare assistants to join our Nursing home based in Darenth DA2 area60-Service Users
• Job Types: Permanent Full-time hours: 42- 44 per week
• Salary: 12.72 per hour

We do recruit only care assistants able work full-time no students or skilled workers

Due to the location of care home own transportation is desirable.

Responsabilities include:

• Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
• Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs e.g. physical emotional and spiritual
• Provide supervision and attention when needed ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
• Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
• Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
• Answer Nurse Call system giving assistance as required
• Answer the door and telephone appropriately
• Respond accordingly and pass on messages promptly
• Report on well-being of Residents
• Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs hearing aids spectacles etc

Requirements for the role

• Experience in a similar role for one year added in the CV
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Team player
• Ability to work on own initiative
