Job Description Home Instead

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Professional to join our team. The successful candidate must be a driver with access to their own car and be committed to providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including assistance with washing dressing grooming and toileting.
• Support clients with daily living activities and mobility.
• Assist with meal preparation and light household duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with medication reminders where required.
• Promote clients independence dignity and well-being.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the care team.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Experience in care is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Caring patient and compassionate nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends if required.
