Job Summary

What Youll Be Doing

As a Care Professional youll deliver high-quality person-centred support that prioritises dignity respect and compassion.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Personal care (bathing dressing managing incontinence toileting and grooming)
  • Medication support (collecting prescriptions providing reminders and administration)
  • Meal preparation and nutrition (preparing tasty meals and mealtime assistance)
  • Mobility and equipment support (getting around safely transfers and using mobility aids)
  • Housekeeping (making/changing beds laundry tidying light cleaning and emptying commodes)
  • Companionship and emotional support (providing a listening ear engaging conversations and outings)

Youll also:

  • Encourage social engagement and family connections
  • Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
  • Respond to emergencies safely and effectively
  • Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team
