Care Assistant

What youll do

We are looking for a friendly and communicative Complex Care Assistant to support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care 24/7. 

Their care needs consist of: 

• Repositioning mobility requirements and manual handling
• Dual Jejunostomy and Gastrostomy Button for feeding and administering medication
• Monitoring of skin and tissue viability
• Complex Epilepsy and Dystonia requiring rescue medication
• Oxygen suctioning and saturation monitoring
• Respiratory requirements interventions of bag and mask oxygen and stimulation. This can be multiple times per day. 
• Physiotherapy progamme 

Qualifications :

What youll need

For this role you would be required to have experience caring for children with complex requirements in a home care setting. Experience in respiratory management would be beneficial.
