Job Summary

Campaign Results Administration Assistant

Remote office administration Marketing Reporting Part-time or full-time
Salary per year for full-time work; part-time pro rata

A campaign report is useful only when the figures refer to the right dates and sources. This position helps assemble basic numbers supplied by the marketing team such as approved website visits enquiry counts or email activity into an organised internal report. You would check labels and totals note missing data and keep source links with the figures. You would not set advertising budgets claim that a campaign caused every enquiry or make strategic recommendations beyond the information you have been asked to compile.

Work with the supplied definitions

Before entering a number check what the owner means by the measure. A count of messages received is not necessarily a count of unique customers. A report may cover one week a calendar month or the dates of a particular campaign. Use the instructed period and note when a source has a different time frame. If two dashboards disagree ask the reporting owner which approved source to use. Do not average them to produce a plausible result.

The team might provide exports from an online platform and a simple spreadsheet. Match the campaign name period and metric before copying a figure. Check whether a number includes test activity or a late adjustment if the source flags it. A change in the underlying report should be recorded rather than silently overwriting an earlier summary. Your job is to make the compiled information traceable so a colleague can check where each figure came from.

A report you might prepare
  • Confirm the campaign and reporting period in the request.
  • Gather the approved source files or dashboard views.
  • Enter the named measures into the assigned report format.
  • Check totals and labels against the original source.
  • Note a missing period or an unavailable data export.
  • Flag a difference between sources for the reporting owner.
  • Keep the source links with the final internal record.
  • Send the completed factual summary to the authorised team.

Suppose an email platform shows 400 clicks and a website dashboard shows 310 visits. Those figures measure different events; you would not call one wrong just because they differ. Label each according to its source and ask the owner how they want the comparison presented. If a colleague asks whether the campaign was successful refer that judgement to the marketing lead. A basic report can be accurate without pretending to provide a causal analysis.

This work also supports customer service. If a campaign produced many questions about a confusing offer the enquiry count may help the responsible team notice the pattern. You should not use individual customer messages in a report unless the company has approved that data handling. Office administration includes keeping exports private naming files clearly and distinguishing a draft from a final report. A reader should know what was counted not merely see a table of attractive numbers.

The job is remote from a home office and uses online dashboards and spreadsheets. The employer will train you on its definitions sources and report format. Previous marketing analytics experience is useful but not mandatory. Comfort with simple totals dates and clear labels is enough for this introductory support role. The hiring company will confirm the actual hours and pay arrangement for its opening.

Reports may be revised after a platform finishes processing late activity. If the owner sends a new export note its date and replace or annotate the draft according to the teams process. A reader should not unknowingly compare a preliminary count with a final one. When a source column is blank do not turn it into zero unless the platform confirms that meaning. Not available and none recorded are different statements. Those small distinctions help the marketing lead review the campaign without having to reconstruct every export.

How to apply

Describe how you would handle two reports that show different numbers for what appears to be the same campaign. An example from a spreadsheet class or volunteer task is fine. You do not need advanced analytics training. If selected for a further stage you may be asked to complete an application on the hiring companys website. The employer will teach its reporting definitions.
