DESCRIPTION:
At Thermo Fisher Scientific collaborate with our team developing and maintaining world-class manufacturing processes for advanced scientific instrumentation and biomedical products. As a Calibration Technician youll work across functions to optimize production improve quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead technical projects while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a GMP environment. Make meaningful contributions that enable our customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.
Shift Pattern
Double day shifts:
Week 1 Monday-Friday: 07:00 15:00
Week 2 Monday-Friday: 15:00 23:00
KeyResponsibilities:
Hands on involvementin equipmentcalibration record keepingand fault finding.
Taking ownership ofsite schedule of calibration requirements.
Work autonomously toprepare forconductandcompletecalibrationactivities.
Offeropinionsto new product introductions oncalibrationtopics to defineparametersrequired tostreamline future needs.
Ensure cGMP(current Good Manufacturing Practice)is applied inall activities undertaken to ensure regulatory compliance.
Ownershipof the generation and upkeep ofcalibration procedures to latest standards.
Ensurebest practiceapproaches are always sought tofuture proofappliedsolutions.
Qualifications/Experience:
Engineering qualificationswould be a distinctadvantage
Able to demonstrate ability tomulti taskandprioritisewithinachanging environment.
Experienceof working within an audited environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Demonstrates an ability to work to standard procedures accurately and without deviation.
