DESCRIPTION:
At Thermo Fisher Scientific collaborate with our team developing and maintaining world-class manufacturing processes for advanced scientific instrumentation and biomedical products. As a Calibration Technician youll work across functions to optimize production improve quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead technical projects while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a GMP environment. Make meaningful contributions that enable our customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

Shift Pattern

Double day shifts:

  • Week 1 Monday-Friday: 07:00 15:00

  • Week 2 Monday-Friday: 15:00 23:00

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Hands on involvementin equipmentcalibration record keepingand fault finding.

  • Taking ownership ofsite schedule of calibration requirements.

  • Work autonomously toprepare forconductandcompletecalibrationactivities.

  • Offeropinionsto new product introductions oncalibrationtopics to defineparametersrequired tostreamline future needs.

  • Ensure cGMP(current Good Manufacturing Practice)is applied inall activities undertaken to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Ownershipof the generation and upkeep ofcalibration procedures to latest standards.

  • Ensurebest practiceapproaches are always sought tofuture proofappliedsolutions.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Engineering qualificationswould be a distinctadvantage

  • Able to demonstrate ability tomulti taskandprioritisewithinachanging environment.

  • Experienceof working within an audited environment would be beneficial but not essential.

  • Demonstrates an ability to work to standard procedures accurately and without deviation.
