CAD TECHNICIAN

CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT

SALARY: COMPETITIVE

The role briefly encompasses the following duties but is not limited to:

Preparation of detailed design drawings (Civil & MEICA)

Preparation of site construction scaled drawings

Preparation of fabricated drawings

Update all red lined drawings to as built status

Manage design drawing folders and ensure all up to date drawings are within contract folders

Assist in the preparation of O&M manuals

Assist in the collation of H&S file information

Assist in the development of construction phase health and safety plans

Assist in the development of design risk assessments

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/attributes:

HND or Degree qualification

Knowledge of industry specifications

Proficient in Auto-CAD (2D)

Full UK Driving Licence

Fully converse with Microsoft Office Package

Team Player

Confident & Friendly

Practical logical adaptable with the ability to remain calm under pressure

Work well on their own with minimum supervision

Flexible

Positive attitude to safety

Tolerant of diverse working conditions and situations

Good Timekeeping
