Where will you be working

At M Group Energy were enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

We provide an end-to-end service delivering solutions in electricity transmission distribution renewable energy EV metering and home decarbonisation.

This role will be within ourDistribution and connectionsteam. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) in the UK we support distribution network operations across infrastructure.

Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. Carrying out electrical planned work customer connections and network reinforcement.

What will you be doing

Are you a skilled and motivated Cable Jointer looking to join a dynamic team If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a significant impact this is the opportunity for you!

Youll use manuals asset standards and technical info to help with installations and remedial works. Youll get hands-on with high voltage switchgear transformers and other equipment and youll install earthing systems and outdoor gear like bus bars disconnectors and switchgear.

Safety is a top priority so youll work according to our safety systems and permit to work systems. Youll need to be adaptable responding to unpredicted events and planning effectively without supervision.

Youll work both independently and as part of a team mentoring and coaching less experienced staff and apprentices to help them grow. Were looking for someone who is always eager to learn new skills and stay updated with the latest industry standards.
