Butchery Supervisor

Were looking for a Butchery Supervisor to join our Spalding site leading a high-performing team and driving results across production.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or someone ready to step up into their first leadership role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Youll play a key role in delivering production targets yields quality and safety standards while developing and supporting your team to perform at their best.

Location - Spalding

Working Hours - Monday to Friday - 06:30 am - 16:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Lead motivate and manage operatives and Team Leaders within the butchery department
• Drive performance against KPIs including yield efficiency quality and service levels
• Ensure all processes meet food safety hygiene and H&S standards
• Monitor performance resolve issues quickly and reduce downtime and waste
• Support training coaching and development of team members
• Ensure accurate production and compliance documentation
• Manage labour effectively to meet operational needs
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Deputise for the Butchery Manager when required

What Were Looking For

• Experience in butchery meat processing or food manufacturing
• Ability to debone leg and shoulder and understanding of carcass structure
• Previous supervisory/team leader experience or astrong operative ready to step up into a leadership role
• Good understanding of food safety hygiene and GMP
• Experience working with KPIs and production targets
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hands-on environment
• Confident using IT systems (e.g. Excel SAP or similar)
