The Role

Key Responsibilities

Plan deliver and assess engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
Develop students understanding of business concepts through relevant real-world examples and case studies
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future planning
Differentiate teaching to support and challenge learners of all abilities
Create a positive ambitious and inclusive classroom environment
Encourage independent learning resilience and academic confidence
Contribute to departmental planning curriculum development and improvement initiatives
Participate in enrichment activities and wider school opportunities
Support students with progression pathways including further education and careers

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher completing training
Have experience teaching Business Studies at KS4 with KS5 experience desirable
Be passionate about Business and able to inspire high-achieving students
Have excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to academic excellence
Possess strong classroom management and communication skills
Be reflective organised and committed to continuous professional development
Have a positive collaborative approach to working with colleagues
