Job Summary
A supportive secondary school in Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Business Teacher to join its dedicated department on a full-time basis with an ASAP start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Business Teacher who can inspire students to develop their understanding of business economics and the commercial world. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to think critically and apply their knowledge to real-world situations.
The successful Business Teacher will teach across KS4 and KS5 delivering well-structured lessons that challenge students and support strong academic progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Business lessons
Teaching GCSE and A Level Business
Preparing students effectively for examinations
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Encouraging independent learning and critical thinking
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Contributing to departmental planning and wider school activities

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Degree in Business or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge
Experience teaching Business at secondary level
Ability to teach confidently through KS5
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for Business and education
