Job Summary

CORE PURPOSE

We require an enterprising commercially minded Business Teacher to deliver high-quality business studies and enterprise instruction across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (A-Level and Vocational Technical qualifications). Operating within a vibrant secondary academy the successful candidate will bridge the gap between academic theory and corporate practice embedding financial management marketing strategies and operational frameworks into the curriculum to prepare all pupils thoroughly for terminal examinations and future corporate or entrepreneurial careers.

  • Rigorous Examination Preparation: Guide Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 cohorts systematically through terminal assessment criteria explicitly training pupils in the data-response analysis calculation metrics and evaluation skills required for top-tier marks.

  • Data-Led Progress Interventions: Implement targeted formative assessment routines utilizing regular diagnostic tracking to pinpoint specific areas of misconception and deploying immediate structured retrieval interventions to maximize student growth.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognized equivalent teaching credential paired with a strong honors degree in Business Studies Management Finance Economics or a closely related commercial discipline.

  • Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to secure excellent progress metrics in terminal public business examinations and technical course submissions through explicit context-first business pedagogy.
