An independent school in Swindon is seeking to appoint a Business Teacher to join its department from September. This is a full-time role within a well-established school that values academic excellence enterprise and high-quality teaching.

Business is a highly regarded subject within the school with students encouraged to develop commercial awareness analytical thinking and an understanding of entrepreneurship finance and organisational strategy.

You will teach Business across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students understanding of key business concepts and real-world commercial practice.

Students will study areas including marketing finance operations human resources and business strategy while developing strong analytical evaluative and problem-solving skills.

You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations supporting them in building confidence with case study analysis extended writing and exam technique.

You will work collaboratively within a successful department while benefiting from smaller class sizes and strong pastoral support.

• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations

• Assess student work and provide clear constructive feedback

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Business at secondary or sixth form level

• Ability to teach KS4 confidently

• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level Business

• Experience preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations

• Ability to contribute to enterprise or enrichment programmes
