Job Summary
A high-achieving school in Coventry is seeking a passionate and committed Business Teacher to join its department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with strong subject knowledge who can inspire pupils to develop a thorough understanding of business and the wider commercial world.
The successful Business Teacher will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS4 to KS5 helping pupils develop their knowledge analytical skills and confidence. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a broad and engaging curriculum and support pupils in achieving strong academic outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging Business lessons across KS4 to KS5
Developing pupils understanding of key business concepts and real-world applications
Differentiating lessons to support pupils of varying abilities
Preparing pupils effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
Using current business examples to enrich classroom learning
Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
The school is looking for a qualified Business Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for business education. Previous experience teaching Business at secondary level is desirable although strong ECTs may also be considered.
The successful candidate will have excellent classroom management skills strong communication abilities and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
