Business Teacher Faith Secondary School in Nottingham

A welcoming and well-established faith secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join its successful Business Studies department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT who is passionate about Business and keen to help students develop the knowledge analytical skills and commercial awareness needed for future study and employment.

The Role

You will teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5 delivering well-structured lessons covering areas such as marketing finance business operations human resources entrepreneurship and business strategy.

You will encourage students to analyse case studies evaluate business decisions and apply theoretical concepts to real-world organisations. Alongside classroom teaching you will monitor progress prepare students for examinations and contribute to the wider development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Differentiate teaching to support students of varying abilities.

  • Assess and monitor student progress.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.

  • Support enterprise projects careers activities and wider enrichment.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.

  • Follow all school safeguarding and behaviour policies.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate should hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and have strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.

You should have:
