Were looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive team within the Education and Childrens Directorate.
In this role youll play a vital part in supporting our Inclusion Service helping ensure children families and professionals receive the high-quality support they need. If you enjoy being organised helping others and working as part of a collaborative team this could be the perfect opportunitywhether youre experienced in admin or looking to grow your skills.
What youll be doing
- Providing high-quality administrative support to managers and operational teams
- Supporting Social Workers managers and professionals across the Inclusion Service
- Communicating with families colleagues and members of the public
- Using systems and data to support service delivery and decision-making
- Helping ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently

Knowledge & experience
- Experience in an administrative or office-based role (or a strong willingness to learn)
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and databases
Strong communication skills
Youll interact with a wide range of people so being able to communicate clearly listen carefully and respond with empathy is essential.
