The Opportunity

As a member of the Business department you will:

  • Teach Business Studies at GCSE and A Level.

  • Deliver engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons.

  • Develop students analytical commercial and entrepreneurial thinking.

  • Prepare students for examination success while fostering a genuine interest in business.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

  • Support enrichment activities including enterprise projects competitions visiting speakers and educational visits.

  • Play an active role in the wider life of the school through pastoral and extracurricular involvement.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Possess strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business Studies.

  • Have experience teaching Business at GCSE and/or A Level.

  • Build positive and productive relationships with students.

  • Demonstrate high expectations for achievement effort and behaviour.

  • Bring enthusiasm creativity and fresh ideas to the classroom.

  • Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive department and wider school community.
