Job Summary
Business Resource Officer
Were looking for an organised and proactive Business Resource Officer to support workforce planning recruitment employee lifecycle activities and resource governance. Working closely with managers and recruitment teams youll play a key role in ensuring our people data and processes are managed efficiently.
What Youll Do:
- Maintain accurate resource plans workforce records organisation charts and capability data to ensure workforce information is always up to date.
- Monitor resource utilisation employee availability joiners leavers training leave and allocations identifying capacity risks and supporting workforce planning.
- Support recruitment by coordinating hiring activities participating in behavioural and values-based interviews assessing candidate fit and providing structured feedback.
- Coordinate employee onboarding transfers and offboarding ensuring all lifecycle activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Produce regular reports dashboards and management information to support business decisions and resource governance.
- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day resource queries working closely with managers project teams and recruitment partners to ensure actions are progressed and completed.

- Experience in resource management recruitment HR administration or business support is desirable.

Qualifications :
Essential
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive and able to work independently managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience maintaining accurate data producing reports and using Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
- A positive solution-focused mindset with the ability to follow tasks through to completion.
Desirable
- Experience in resource management HR recruitment coordination or project support.
- Experience conducting interviews or assessing candidates.
- Understanding of workforce planning resource utilisation or capability management.
- Experience working within engineering consultancy or technical project environments.
- An interest in developing a career in resource management and workforce planning.
