THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
CMRB is looking for a Business Ops Manager based out of Unity Place.
This role sits within the Communications Marketing & Responsible Banking (CM&RB) division & reports into the Senior Business Manager for CM&RB within the wider Ops & Transformation hub.
The role holder will manage the business operations agenda for CM&RB ensuring effective divisional governance robust risk and control oversight and continuous improvement of how the division operates. Provide strategic insight and challenge to senior leaders translating divisional priorities into effective governance transformation and operational outcomes. Continuously analysing identifying and recommending solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

Provide oversight of divisional Budget for resource and third-party investment to support effective prioritisation efficiency and delivery of the Functional Plan.
Lead the CM&RB divisional risk and control agenda ensuring effective governance ownership and escalation of material risks and issues.
Own the divisional risk governance framework and forums ensuring senior leaders have a clear view of the risk profile and areas requiring intervention.
Oversee the effectiveness of key controls and work with accountable owners to address control weaknesses and emerging risks.
Ensure processes and governance remain proportionate effective and aligned to wider organisational requirements.
Own specific operational and capability OKRs ensuring clear measures accountability and delivery.
Lead efficiency and effectiveness reviews across CM&RB identifying opportunities to simplify processes remove duplication improve capacity and strengthen ways of working.
Develop recommendations and business cases for transformation opportunities articulating expected benefits investment requirements risks and dependencies.
Lead or oversee priority operational transformation initiatives ensuring benefits and efficiencies are delivered and sustained.
Identify opportunities to use technology automation and data to improve divisional operations and reduce manual activity.
Use benchmarking diagnostics and deep dives to challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support the divisional strategic workforce and capability agenda including succession talent resourcing and capability requirements.
Provide insight on workforce capacity and capability to support organisational and transformation decisions.
Work with relevant teams to ensure People priorities are aligned with the future operating needs of CM&RB.

Professional Experience
Sound knowledge of Financial Services industry and competitor and industry trends.
Good understanding of the company its products processes and governance.
Good understanding of risk regulatory and compliance frameworks as well as ability to address areas of concern through actions that mitigate
Understanding of current strategic agenda of San UK its business model and financial drivers.
Previous process improvement and performance measurement experience.
Proven diagnostic problem solving and analytical skills.
Project management skills to plan monitor and execute projects.
Education
Educated to a degree level
Skills
Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team. (Required)

Salary Range:
49274.00 - 73912.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills experience qualifications and location.
