Business Continuity Specialist

Barbican London Hybrid Working Commercial Fixed-Term Contract: 12 Months Full Time

Competitive salary available depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

This is a hands-on high-impact role where you will lead and accelerate our Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and operational resilience agenda. Youll play a key role in evolving Nuffield Health from a compliance-led position to a mature enterprise-wide resilience model ensuring we can effectively respond to and recover from disruption while safeguarding patient safety operations finance and reputation.

As our Business Continuity Specialist you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Business Continuity Plans across critical services from development and testing through to governance and continuous improvement

  • Design and deliver scenario-based testing to validate resilience and strengthen organisational readiness

  • Establish and embed governance frameworks with clear ownership and accountability across the business

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across clinical technology finance and operational teams to deliver a prioritised resilience roadmap

  • Integrate business continuity and resilience requirements into new systems change initiatives and transformation programmes

  • Drive continuous improvement ensuring BCP evolves in line with organisational risk and strategic priorities

To succeed as a Business Continuity Specialist youll bring:

  • Proven experience in Business Continuity Planning within a complex organisation

  • Strong technical awareness and understanding of operational resilience frameworks

  • A track record of translating strategy into practical fast-paced delivery

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior audiences

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

  • Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment (desirable but not essential)
