Business and Finance Journalist (Intern)

Responsibilities:   

• Weekly: A column that analyzes the business side of entertainment across all sectors by giving the readers an inside look at the impact of the decisions made in the C-Suites and boardrooms as well as examining mergers & acquisitions market values on stock exchanges and profiling media founders executives and companies.

• Special Coverage: Write occasional analyses of market reports and audience demographic data.  

Qualifications :

The Market Analyst Journalist will cover entertainment industry-related content for the site as it identifies with and relates to A Hot Sets target demographic.

The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in writing about the business side of the entertainment industry.

The candidate should possess an aptitude/interest in analyzing market data.

The candidate should also possess critical and intellectual thinking skills to write fact-based analyses.

The candidate should possess a background or journalistic skillset in business finance or economics.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

The internship is virtual and unpaid. Yet you will gain valuable writing experience.

Note: Metro Los Angeles and New York City residents are strongly encouraged to apply but the location is not required.
