This role is a key contributor to the strategic growth and operational excellence of Willis Res business. The role will assist with placement strategies and drive business development initiatives while ensuring compliance and profitability.

Role Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for key clients ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness.
• Conduct strategic reviews renewal planning and risk advisory sessions with client
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across Willis Res portfolio.
• Analyse underwriting data and develop market knowledge to inform placement strategies
• Collaborate with actuarial and analytics teams to assess portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Assist with the structuring negotiation and placement of reinsurance programmes by developing bespoke client solutions
• Grow and maintain strong relationships with global reinsurers to secure optimal terms and capacity.
• Ensure all placements and documentation meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous proven reinsurance broking experience
• Strong understanding of reinsurance structures
• Advanced negotiation skills and deep market relationships with global reinsurers
• Excellent communication presentation and clientfacing skills
• Ability to manage complex placements under tight timelines
• Degree in Business Finance Risk Management or related field; professional designations (e.g. ACII) beneficial
