Brewing Operative

As a Brewing Operative youll play a pivotal role in ensuring our brewing processes flow seamlessly maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Positioned at the heart of our brewery youll take on the responsibility of overseeing crucial stages of production contributing to the creation of exceptional beers that define our brand.  

This role is based on site at the Belhaven Brewery in Dunbar.

In the role you will be part of report to the Brewing Shift Manager and work a double days shift pattern Monday to Friday one week 6am till 2pm the next week 2pm till 10pm.

Qualifications :

Your role as a Brewing Operative 

• Achieve the agreed production plan and meet internal loss and efficiency targets.  

• Oversee the brewing process in various roles handling everything from raw material intake to dispatch and packaging.  

• Ensure proper preparation and monitoring ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. 

• Assisting with changes that impact plant efficiency and maintaining control over quality in line with quality policies.  

• Comply with all legal production requirements and adhere to standard operating procedures and health and safety regulations.
