Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch/Yard Assistant to join our thriving Northampton branch. If youre a motivated team player with a flexible approach and a passion for providing outstanding customer service wed love to hear from you.
Your job
This role involves:
- Providing customers with product and service information
- Pick customer orders accurately
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
- Process orders accurately within a time dictated by the customer deadline
- Serve customers on the trade counter when required
- Customer interaction
Qualifications :
Required:
- Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
Desirable:
- Warehouse experience
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Forklift truck licence
