At Oasis Academy Hadley we are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable A Level Biology Tutor to support our students through high-quality small group sessions.

About the role

You will deliver engaging focused Biology tutoring sessions to small groups of students designed to accelerate progress and deepen understanding.

Working closely with teaching staff and academy leaders youll ensure sessions are aligned with the curriculum and tailored to meet individual student needs.

This is a flexible part-time role with sessions agreed based on your availability and the needs of the academy.

What youll be doing

• Deliver high-quality A Level Biology tutoring to small groups
• Use assessment information to identify gaps and plan targeted sessions
• Support students to build confidence improve exam technique and develop subject mastery
• Provide clear constructive feedback and track student progress
• Create a positive focused and supportive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with staff to maximise the impact of tutoring
• Maintain simple records of sessions and student outcomes

• Have strong subject knowledge in A Level Biology
• Are able to explain complex concepts clearly and engage students
• Understand how to adapt teaching to meet different learning needs
• Are enthusiastic reliable and genuinely motivated to help young people succeed
