You will teach Science across Key Stage 3 before specialising in Biology at Key Stage 4. The role will involve helping students understand biological concepts through a mixture of clear explanation practical investigation discussion and examination preparation.

At KS3 you will cover areas such as cells ecosystems reproduction health and the environment. At KS4 you will teach GCSE Biology content and help students develop the analytical and scientific skills needed to succeed in their examinations.

Practical work will be an important part of the position and the successful teacher should be confident organising and delivering investigations safely. You will also be expected to monitor student progress and work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Science Department.

Biology Teacher - Experience and Qualifications
