Billing Associate

Circle Business Services is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Billing Associate to join their team of staff.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Produce accurate and timely invoices for patients consultants insurers and NHS organisations in accordance with contractual agreements and organisational policies.

• Ensure invoices are processed correctly applying agreed charging structures tariffs and billing rules.

• Review and verify billing information to ensure accuracy before invoices are issued.

• Process invoice amendments adjustments and credit notes where appropriate.

• Monitor billing activities to ensure service level agreements and billing deadlines are consistently achieved.

• Support accurate revenue recognition through timely and compliant billing processes.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Experience working in a finance billing accounts receivable customer service or business services environment.

• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage queries professionally and effectively.

• Good technology skills including experience using financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

• Ability to manage workload effectively prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.

• Good numerical analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Experience working within healthcare private healthcare or NHS finance environments.

• Knowledge of healthcare billing processes NHS contracts or private medical insurance billing.

• Experience using financial management or patient administration systems.

• Understanding of invoice production exception reporting and query resolution processes.

• Knowledge of data protection confidentiality and financial governance requirements.

• Experience supporting process improvement or finance transformation initiatives.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including basic reporting and data analysis.
