Job Summary
Unit Role: Reserve War Fighting Infantry Light Role Unit.
Position Role: Plans Officer learning and development within a Reserve Inf LR Bn.
Responsibilities: Plan manage and deliver Unit plans as directed to ensure operational readiness and capability development. Direct and support battalion activities delegating to appropriately qualified personnel in the delivery of mandatory and Unit-specific trg.
- Responsible to XO and Bn 2IC for co-ordinating Unit level Training Activities.
- Assist with Force Generation and Force Preparation for Units deploying on Operations.
- Deployable role within the Plans cell of the deployed HQ.
- Assist Bn 2IC with future planning and Bde Readiness Order.
- Deputise for Bn 2IC as required.
- General staff support to BHQ activity and additional tasks as directed by XO.
- Provide interface for Bn and Bde HQ for G5 matters.
