We are looking for an experienced Barista to join the team at Science and Industry Museum

Located within the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester our café offers a dynamic and welcoming working environment at one of the citys most popular visitor attractions. Serving museum visitors families school groups tourists and local guests throughout the day the café is a vibrant and fast-paced operation where no two days are the same.

We pride ourselves on creating a warm family-friendly atmosphere that complements the museum experience. Excellent customer service efficiency and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do helping visitors enjoy a memorable day out. We are looking for energetic personable Baristas who thrive in busy environments enjoy engaging with a wide variety of customers and can consistently deliver high standards during peak trading periods.

Successful candidates will bring a positive attitude strong communication skills and a genuine passion for coffee and hospitality. A proactive approach ability to work as part of a close-knit team and commitment to creating a welcoming experience for guests of all ages are essential.

Our café operates seven days a week in line with museum opening hours including weekends and school holidays when visitor numbers are at their highest

About the Barista role:

• Preparing and serving coffee and tea drinks

• Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and tea served at Benugo

• Supporting the Team Leader and Cafe Manager in training the team

• Properly handling and maintaining all coffee equipment

• Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard

• Ensuring that food safety standards are always followed

• General cleaning duties and general tasks across the site

Previous experience preparing and serving drinks is required.
